Lassi is a popular, traditional, yogurt-based drink from the Indian subcontinent. Indian Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water or milk, spices, and/or fruit. In India, plain sweet lassi and salt lassi (without fruits) are quite famous, and I have grown up drinking those during the peak summers. But in the USA, the most popular lassi is Mango Lassi, which is available in any local Indian restaurant. Today I am sharing another fruit-based Indian sweet lassi recipe using fresh strawberries. It’s easy, delicious, and perfect for hot summers. Whenever I buy huge boxes of organic strawberries from Costco, I generally make this strawberry lassi, Strawberry Orange Juice, and homemade Strawberry Jam since my daughter loves them.
