Aug 30, 2016, Updated Jan 02, 2018 Chocolate dipped Coconut Raspberry Protein Popsicles made with Kashi® GOLEAN™ Plant Powered Shakes are the perfect way to cool off post workout. Vegan and gluten-free!
Literally last few days of summer remaining now. It will be September the day after tomorrow. Eeeks, how did that happen? But the good news is that it’s still pretty hot in my part of the world so I am enjoying the sun while it lasts. Did I tell you guys that I have been struggling to get back to my fitness routine for like forever. It’s like I am pretty regular for 2 weeks and then nothing for the next 2 weeks. Something or the other comes up and sometimes I am plain lazy. [Yes I will admit that!] These days I find motivation in my husband’s commitment for his indoor rock climbing. He’s so excited to do it every week! So I go tag along with him twice a week. At least that’s a routine I am following regularly.
What I am also trying is to do workout at home twice a week. Have you guys tried these exercise videos online? They are good right? You can really get a good workout in the comforts of your home. Some of them are really intensive and I am like drenched in sweat by the time I am done with them. And then I really want something icy cold to cool down. I have been meaning to make protein popsicles for ever and when I tried the new Kashi® GOLEAN™ Plant Powered Shake, I just knew I had to make some popsicles using it.
Kashi GOLEAN Vanilla Vinyasa Shake is plant based protein powder which is vegan and gluten-free. It has 20-21g of multi-source plant protein and mixes easily with water or your favorite smoothies. In fact it blended perfectly in these protein popsicles. Kashi has also launched another line of product – Kashi Organic Breakfast Superblends, which is also vegan and gluten-free. It’s really easy to incorporate protein into your diet using this protein powder. It can easily be mixed into your smoothies, pancakes, muffins and so much more!
These protein popsicles are really the best way to not only cool down after your workout but also get your protein fix. These are made with coconut milk , protein powder and sweetened with maple syrup. I dipped them in some chocolate to satisfy my chocolate craving but that’s of course totally optional. Hope you guys enjoy them! Method Mix coconut milk, maple syrup and Kashi GOLEAN Vanilla Vinyasa Powdered Shake in a blender or food processor. Pulse till it’s all combined and mixture is totally smooth. Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds, placing raspberries in between.
Cover and freeze for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes take out the popsicles and insert popsicle stick in each of the mold. Return the mold to the freezer and freeze overnight or until the popsicles are completely set. Once set, place the popsicle mold under warm water for 30-40 seconds and pull gently. To dip these popsicles in chocolate, melt chocolate chips and coconut oil using a microwave or double-boiler method. Dip each popsicle into the melted chocolate and garnish with shredded coconut, if desired.
I purchased Kashi GOLEAN online from Target.com. Use Coupon Code TGTKASHI to save $10 off one Kashi Protein Powder (GoLean or Kashi). You can follow them on Facebook//Twitter//Instagram.
