Oct 04, 2022 Easy ladoos are one of my favorite things to make for the festive season like these paan ladoo, kesar badam ladoo and more. And this year I thought of making Biscoff ladoos for Diwali. Sarvesh is obsessed with biscoff, he gets big boxes of biscoff from Costco every time we are there and biscoff is one cookie that you will always find in my house. It is because he loves biscoff so much that I made Biscoff Cheesecake for his birthday last year which he said was the best thing I ever made! These biscoff ladoo are for you if you love biscoff. If you have never tried biscoff cookies, well now is the time to not only try biscoff cookies but also make these ladoos with them. The ladoos have this warm cinnamon-y flavor from the biscoff cookies and are rolled in coconut. I think these two flavors just belong together- you got to take my word for it and try it! And they couldn’t be easier to make. If you have never made an Indian mithai before and are looking for the easiest treat to make for the festive season, then it doesn’t get easier than this.

These Biscoff Ladoo

are done in 20 minutes or less! are easy mithai to make for festivals like Diwali, Holi. make a great gifting option for friends and family. are made with only 5 ingredients.

Ingredients

Biscoff Cookies: since these are biscoff ladoo, I would highly not recommend substituting them. They are delicious here with the coconut and any other replacement like parle-g, graham cracker would not taste as good as these in this recipe. Sweetened condensed milk: biscoff cookies are quite sweet on their own so we used around 1/4 cup of condensed milk here. Make sure you are using condensed milk and not evaporated milk here, they are both different and evaporated milk is not sweetened. Desiccated coconut powder: you can find dry desiccated coconut powder at any Indian grocery store. I prefer using the fine coconut powder in this recipe. You also need some extra coconut powder for rolling the ladoos.

Step by Step Method to Make Biscoff Ladoo

1- To a food processor, add 15 biscoff cookies. 2- Pulse a few times until you have fine cookie crumbs. You will need 1 cup cookie crumbs for this recipe. Set this aside. 3- To a pan on medium heat, add 3/4 tablespoon ghee. Once ghee melts, add 3/4 cup desiccated coconut powder and stir. Cook the coconut for around 2 minutes, stirring constantly. 4- Then add the prepared cookie crumbs and mix until it’s all well combined. 5- Add 1/4 cup of sweetened condensed milk, this amount can be adjusted to taste. You can add less (reduce by 1-2 tablespoons) of it if you want the ladoos less sweet. 6- Also add 2 to 3 tablespoons of milk. I added 3 tablespoons of whole milk here. I did try this recipe without milk at first but I much prefer the version with milk. The addition of milk makes the ladoos softer and creamier. 7- Stir everything together and cook for around 1 to 1 & 1/2 minutes stirring constantly until it all comes together as a dough. 8- When done, the dough will leave the sides and be non-sticky. It comes together very quickly. At this point, remove dough from the pan and transfer it to a bowl. 9- To make the ladoo, pinch a small portion from the dough. You can make big or small ladoos depending on how many ladoos you want from the mixture. 10- Roll the dough between your palms to give it a round shape. 11- Once you have a round ladoo, roll it in a plate of desiccated coconut powder. 12- Make all the ladoos similarly. You will get around 15 ladoos, or less or more depending on how big or small you make them. Store them in an airtight container.

Storage

Store these biscoff ladoo in an airtight container. They honestly taste best when consumed within 48 hours of making them but they will last around 3-4 days. I would suggest keeping them at room temperature since the texture is better that way but you can refrigerate and then they will last for up to 5 days.

Using Other Cookies

As I mentioned above, these are biscoff ladoo so I would not recommend substituting them however if you really want to make an easy ladoo with cookies you can use parle-g biscuits here. You would need to use more condensed milk since parle-g biscuits aren’t as sweet as biscoff cookies. If you’ve tried this Recipe then don’t forget to rate the recipe!
